day 30

Jasmyn had to get 4 baby teeth pulled to make room for some permanent teeth to come in straight.  She did great!  she is the perfect little patient!  The laughing gas helped too! ;)  Here are the 4 teeth she had pulled.  She wouldn't let me take any pictures of her.  She was numb and her face hurt.  I don't blame her for not wanting her picture taken!

My friend Sarah came over to watch harlie for me while I was at the dentist with Jasmyn.  She brought her dogs with her.  I LOVE her dog Winston.  He is a Great Dane.  Such a sweet dog!

And then Mason helped me make dinner.  It was his first time peeling a potato.  I hope his future life partner thanks me for training him right!  They all need to know the way around a kitchen and a potato peeler! (and a washing machine, and a vacuum cleaner, and a mop, and and and...)  :)

And if anyone actually reads this.... drop me a comment.  I feel like I am wasting my time.... :/

day 29

yes I skipped day 28.... we did errands and worked on Valentine's Day crafts with the kids.  Tim worked in Seattle so it was just the kids and I.  Jasmyn made mac and cheese for dinner.  :)

Onward to day 29....

It snowed.  I shoveled the walks, driveways and back steps.  I consider that my exercise for the day.  Snow is heavy.  My back still hurts.  But I did take a moment for a photo op!

day 27

Harlie wanted to try on my hat.  What a cutie pie!

day 26

Day 24

yes I know I skipped day 23.  Trust me nothing happened worth mentioning!  LOL

On ward to day 24....

Spent the day with friends doing crafts!  First Amber, Jen and I made these valentine's day wreaths.

Thanks Pinterest for the idea!

Then Jen and I decided to make tutu type skirts for our girls to wear to school on Friday before the Superbowl!  Go SEAHAWKS!!!!

Day 22

Today was a shitty day!  Literally!  The dog had an accident in his kennel.  The kennel he shares with the other dog.  That earned them a trip to the groomers to get a bath, and cost me $50.  I could have washed them myself.... but Heck NO!  I wash enough poop off my kid... I draw the line at the dogs!

Here is Jake all bummed out that I wouldn't let him in.  Sorry dog... you are sick and I am not cleaning up th floor.... again.  And I even gave him a nice warm dry place to lay.
He finallyladi down in it once Toby came outside.

Today was dentist day.  All 4 kids at the same time.  That is a mistake I won't make again.  LOL  usually I split them up and take 2 at a time.  But the receptionist talked me into doing all 4 at once.  It  was totally chaotic!  The picture shows everyone laying nicely watching TV with the headphones on... but let's just say it did not end that way.  We had to hold Harlie down.  Then he peed his pants.  The older kids bugging me about tokens and prizes while the dentist is trying to talk to me about pulling 4 of Jasmyn's teeth.  OH EM GEE!  It was a shit show!

Mommy needs a glass of wine now!

day 21

I took thetime this mornin to braid jasmyn's hair.  Usually she just puts it in a pony tail.  So when i do it we try totake a picture.  It happens rarely!  LOL  Much more pressing things to do inthe morning like.... make lunches, drink coffee and be "Drill Sargent Mom"trying to get kids out the door on time.  LOL

Anyway... Here is her circle braid.

And here is a picture of the scale.  Darn it!  I cannot break out of 180s.  Grrrrrr

day 20

We had the day off because of MLK, Jr. Day.  So we invited over a bunch of friends and made Valentine's day crafts.  Here are the kids eating lunch.

Here are the hearts we made.  They are foam bases covered in scrapbook papers.  Then we strung them on ribbon to make garland.  Sooooo Cute!

Valentine's Banner above my kitchen sink!

2 words: SEAHAWKS GAME!!!!

I spent the morning cleaning up the house and making snack foods for the game!  The kids played Minecraft and helped me clean.  Then at game time our friends Sarah and Matt came over.  They brought their two dogs Winston and Akira.  4 dogs, 4 kids, 4 adults!  Lots of CHAOS!!!  But I did take pictures!

Sarah Cuddles up with Jasmyn.  Mason with the photobomb!

Akira and I.  I love this puppy.  So cute!

day 18

Today we all had different things going on.  Jasmyn had a play date with her friend Rachel.  I went over and hung out with my friend Sarah.  Tim and the boys ran some errands and fixed a broken drawer.  Then I went to a friends house for a birthday party.  I did not take a single picture.  :(

I did take some for tomorrow's entry!

day 17

Harlie and I went to Michaels to buy some rubber bands for Jasmyn's Rainbow loom.  While we were there he saw a bin full of "Stuffies".  Basically a giant stuffed animal with pockets all over it that kids can store their treasures in.  He pulled out he purple and pink Dinosaur and said he was "buying it for Christmas for myself."  LOL.  Well he just so happens to have gotten some money from his Great aunts that equaled what the Stuffie cost.  So I let him buy it with his own money!  Thanks Aunt Jeana & Terrie for making this possible,  He is VERY excited about his Stuffie!

day 16

After school Jasmyn had her first marimba rehearsal!  She was disappointed because she wanted to learn a new song, but all they did was review the songs they already knew.  She loves it though! She was all smiles when I picked her up.

I volunteer for the kids school sometimes.  The librarian doesn't have alot of volunteer support so I try to help out when I can.  And she makes it easy because she lets me bring materials home to complete tasks for her.  Here is Jasmyn and I covering new paperback books with a plastic covering to help protect them.  Jasmyn liked to use the boning tool to get the bubbles out of the plastic bond. :)

Here is Tim helping Jasmyn with her math homework while Harlie lays with play doh.  The same homework that I tried to help her with and she cried because I "don't do it right".  LOL  Thank goodness Tim can help her.

And here are the boys all tucked into bed!

I can't wait to climb into my own bed!

day 15

YAY!  All the kids are feeling better!  Everyone went to school today.  Good thing because I was feeling especially yucky.  After school the kids were all watching something on Cartoon Network.com.  They were all laughing and having a good time together!  It warmed my heart!  The pictures suck, but you get the idea!  Hapy Kids = Happy Mom = Happy Family!

And then right before bedtime Harlie and Kaleb were fighting in Kaleb's room. Kaleb wanted Harlie to leave his room, Harlie wanted to stay.  When things got heated I intervened and told Harlie to play in his own room.  Harlie did for a while then he came into the living and I taped the following video:

day 14

Today we stayed home.  I had 3 boys home sick. But not really that sick.  But our school has a pesky rule that requires that they are fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.  Both the boys were running fevers yesterday afternoon, so even though they feel better and are fine they can't go back to school until tomorrow.  Sigh.

Jasmyn started to feel yucky right before lunch and got sent to the nurses office.  Since the school already knows that the stomach bug has hit our house they did not hesitate to call me.  However she did not actually get sick.  No fever no vomiting.  I think she actually was just hungry and mistaken a hungry tummy for a sick one.  But I don't blame her... she has watched her brother go through it for the past 4 days.

Harlie is feeling much better.  He was playing outside and discovered our pine tree.  It is funny because the pine tree has been in our back yard since we moved it.  But TODAY he noticed that the branches have needles and that they don't fall off like the maple tree leaves do.  So he brought me some samples of the tree that he yanked off so that I could take his picture.

When he got bored of that he had Kaleb help him build his race track and played with is cars.
Mason still chillin on the couch.  I was trying to keep everyone calm... as this IS a sick day!  LOL.  Our cat Bella can't resist anytime anyone has a blanket she comes and cuddles.

The cat looks HUGE in this picture.  LOL

This blanket used to be Kaleb's.  I bought it for him for is 2nd birthday.  He was obsessed with the movie Nemo.  He used to beg us to let him watch it every day, twice a day, for months!  Harlie has discovered Nemo.  It is super fun to relive that movie with Kaleb & Harlie.  It makes my heart all warm and squishy!  Harlie laid this blanket out and "showed" me Nemo, marlin and Dori.  So cute!

I hope we all start to feel better soon and that I get a good night's sleep soon.  Still surfing the couch or Harlie's bed.... Oh my Aching Back.
